Anterior Collapse & The Vertical Stack.

An objective look at the jaw-chest-pelvis chain, repetitive-load stooping, and restoring connected upright posture. Initial consultations are complimentary.

Do you have a dull feeling that might make sense when you are told you are shriveling up? Most men know that older gents shrivel. Try this: stand with your back to a wall. You might notice your head touches first, your shoulders second, and your lower back never makes contact. That is not ageing. It is a three-zone fascial collapse — jaw, chest cage, pelvis. Where are you feeling the compression most today?
General postural guidance only, not medical treatment. Severe stooping may indicate underlying medical conditions. Consult a qualified clinician for persistent or acute symptoms.
01 / The Structural Shift
01
Anterior Collapse (Day 1)
02
Connectivity Release (Day 21)
03
Vertical Stack (Month 6)
Moving away from three-zone fascial collapse toward a connected vertical stack. Focus rests on jaw re-seat, chest cage opening, and pelvic release as an integrated chain.
02 / Comparative Mechanics
TYPICAL POSTURAL PATTERN

Compressed & Rigid

Forward head, rounded shoulders, compressed chest. The jaw protrudes, the chest cage narrows, the pelvis tilts. Anything repetitive can cause slight stooping. Left unaddressed, it only gets worse.

BALANCED ALIGNMENT

Connected & Resilient

Head aligned over shoulders, chest cage open, pelvis neutral. The jaw, chest, and pelvis operate as a connected unit. Load distributes vertically without anterior collapse.

03 / Case Snapshot
"After years of screen work, I noticed my head was permanently forward. I assumed it was just getting older. This guidance showed me that slight stooping from repetitive work only gets worse if left unaddressed. Severe stooping is clearly medical — but the early pattern is mechanical, and it can be reversed."

CARD 01
1. Jaw Re-seat
Releasing the mandible from its forward-protruded position. The jaw is the top anchor of the stooping chain. When it resets, the cervical spine follows.
CARD 02
2. Cervical Re-alignment
Restoring the natural curve of the neck after the jaw re-seats. The head stops jutting forward and the load redistributes through the cervical vertebrae.
CARD 03
3. Scapular Drop
Allowing the shoulder blades to settle down and back rather than rolling forward. The scapulae are the bridge between cervical alignment and chest cage opening.
CARD 04
4. Chest Cage Opening
Expanding the compressed anterior rib cage. The chest has narrowed under forward load. Restoring width here allows the diaphragm to operate correctly.
CARD 05
5. Thoracic Expansion
Encouraging movement across the upper back to break the thoracic kyphosis pattern. The upper back has been locked in flexion. It needs to remember extension.
CARD 06
6. Pelvic Re-stack
Releasing the pelvis from its anterior or posterior tilt. The pelvis is the base of the vertical stack. It was the last of the three zones to release in my own recalibration.
CARD 07
7. Baseline Verification
Monitoring the three-zone stack organically. Jaw line visible. Chest cage definition present. Pelvis neutral. You might notice people looking twice. That is the vertical stack operating.
05 / Progressive Milestones
Individual experiences vary. Timing depends on where else you have worked. These are typical reported observations rather than guaranteed outcomes.
Day 1
Initial awareness of the three-zone compression pattern through targeted observation and palpation.
Day 3
Early signs of jaw and chest cage mobility as anterior restrictions begin to release.
Day 21
Noticeable shift in habitual shoulder and head position during daily activity.
Month 3
Greater vertical endurance as the jaw-chest-pelvis connectivity chain begins to integrate.
Month 6
Consistent upright stack with the three zones operating as a connected unit. Minimal ongoing maintenance.

06 / About James & Background

Operated independently from Tenerife. Previously based in Manchester, rural Scotland, Dubai, and Cape Town. The Canary Islands were a lockdown miscalculation that turned out to be structurally useful.

I spent fifteen years running the largest travel recruitment business globally. That meant managing human load across time zones and nationalities. The same principles apply to fascia: understand the system, then intervene precisely.

My own recalibration followed a clear connectivity pattern. The jaw line came first. The chest cage developed incredible definition second. The pelvis was the last of the three to finally release. I am usually ahead of the curve on mechanics and behind the curve on social media. Contentment is balance.

I turn heads wherever I go. I think it is because of my posture. Worryingly, it may simply be because I look different — I generally look very healthy, despite having had a pretty condensed life from the ages of 18 to 45. The goal is for every man to operate as the best version of his own structure.

Not everyone has access to a Canary Islands climate. Deep heat penetration matters: long showers, baths, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis. Self-massage has the secondary benefit of dramatically improving grip strength. Your ability to move with ease improves in parallel.

I work from the members-only coffee shops here in Tenerife as much as I work on my own recalibration. If this is available to you, I have found Sativa and Indica strains to be effective lubricants for fascial release work, combined with heat, movement, and massage.
